Unfortunately due to the government's anouncement tonight we have been forced to close the club until further notice. Anyone expecting to grade next week, we can assure you Sensei will grade you as soon as possible after the club re-opens. Practice your kata's at home if you can. We will hopefully have some videos of each Kata to follow on here and/or instagram soon.
Please watch this website for further information and news.
All Karate has had to be cancelled until further notice.
Not all Karate clubs are the same, with most clubs you are asked to pay on monthly terms, regardless of whether you attend classes or not. We feel this makes you, as a parent make your child attend, this is something we discourage. We want the child to come and enjoy training and hopefully enjoy coming to the classes and further his/her training. When you first join the club you will not need any specialist clothing, you can wear loose training clothes such as track suit bottoms and t-shirt (most students prefer shorter sleeves when training). However after a few sessions most students like to buy a Karate GI. This is a Martial Arts Suit which is generally 100% cotton and suited to Karate training. You can buy your suit from your instructor. You’re GI can be embellished with a club badge which can also be purchased from your instructor.
